Revd. Jeremy Trew
Roles: Lead governor for Ethos, member of Teaching and Learning committee, Admissions committee.
Category of Governor: Ex Officio
Term of office:
As a local vicar, being on the Governing body of a Church School comes with the job, and it’s a role I’ve come to enjoy over the years. I have served as a Governor for the Ark Federation, and previously Beer School, since 2007, and have six years experience as a Governor prior to that. Being a Governor is only part of my role with the Federation and, together with others from local churches, I seek to support the schools pastorally and through involvement in collective worship.
I have two children of my own who are now both at Secondary School and, to their relief, no longer have to sit through dad’s assemblies. Prior to becoming a vicar I worked in scientific research and also did a stint with BBC local radio.
